Lie-in: luxury!
Yes, today is the first completely free day I have enjoyed in about 5 or 6 weeks. Not that I've been working especially long hours for the most part, but even a fairly short gig requires preparation and travelling and hanging around beforehand and hanging around afterwards and more travelling; even an engagement of only an hour or so can eat a big chunk out of the day. And having such engagements over the weekend just stops the weekend being properly restful, somehow. I am feeling run into the ground. The savagely cold weather of the past few days has been tiring me out as well. This morning - with nothing to do - I lounged in bed until 10am. Bliss.
