Exciting times at my new Place Of Work - the Managing Director is visiting from the UK this week.
He seems a very affable and approachable fellow. I've told him he'll need to double my salary if there is to be any chance I'll persist with the dratted job for more than a year. He made soothing "We'll look into the possibilities" noises. I think there is next-to-no-chance that will actually happen.
I'd probably better start looking for a new job straight away.
