All I want for Christmas is.... a Daily Llama

Amongst all the cutesy toy llamas I've seen on the Internet (why do they appeal so powerfully to crocheters??), I thought this little wooden sculpture was the classiest. And apparently it has a concealed compartment, so that you can store your Mary Jane inside it. Nice.

Happy holidays, everyone!

That is a really nice looking llama. Curvy. I'll try to make one, though there are few of these here in Toronto, Canada!

I'm sorry I didn't record the details of who made it. But these days, you can probably find it with a Google picture search.

I think it was on a German website.

Sigh. I am such an old fuddy-duddy -- when I read your aside about the secret compartment, I first thought you meant to store one of these things inside. "What an... ODD feature," I thought.

And then, as they say, the coin dropped. Duh.

Not sure where you saw it but it's available here. (And yes, Google Images search to the rescue... I just discovered there's a new feature there, which lets you paste the URL of any image, to find OTHER pages with the same/similar images.)

Ah, I hadn't heard of that kind of Mary Jane. I think I might prefer that. Peanut butter toffee - hmmmm!
