"We grow to love that which we see every day. We grow to hate that which we love every day."
Froog
I don't necessarily believe this; but it's a good line. And I think it could account in part for the blooming of ennui or resentment when we become over-familiar with something or someone. We can easily love what is familiar to us; but then we start to hate it when our exposure to it passes a certain threshold. This is why it's so difficult to live with people.
