I had to think about this a while when I read it yesterday. And I realized I was still thinking about it just now, on re-reading.

Now I'm worried that I'm simply demonstrating the point. (And that my worrying is doing so.)

Keep pondering. I'm sure you'll get there eventually.

I was thinking mainly of the younger, brasher type of American that so predominates in our expat community here now.
