Haiku for the week

Dragon-heads cut off;
Our hydra grows another.
Can Herakles win?

[It's a Classical metaphor, don't you know?]

The thing that worries me about this analogy is that it would be more apposite to characterise Witopia as the hydra.

And Herakles did succeed in cutting all its heads off eventually.

Hmm. Maybe I'm overthinking this. But if Witopia is the hydra, then doesn't that make your real-world Herakles a villain rather than a hero?

Quite so. 'Kafka Central' is trying to work out the cauterising the neck-wound trick, while our indomitable Witopia is busily trying to grow new servers and routings and whatnot.

1 round each this week (though Witopia's speed of response - less than 12 hours - makes you wonder why KC bothers at all); but I fear it's going to be a protracted and brutal fight.
