I have committed myself to having a flat-warming party tomorrow. I still have heaps of stuff to try to do to get ready for it. It is now barely 32 hours away. And I'm blogging about it....

Looking forward to and/or dreading an account of this event! Is it too much to ask that you might have broken out your camera for it?
(Speaking of which: you don't seem to post photos much anymore. One of my favorite series here over the last year was the one from last spring, I think; you were too busy to post much in the way of words, so you substituted still lifes (lives?) and landscapes, with minimal commentary. Something to consider, perhaps, when and if you feel the content well has run dry!)
I have sp,e 'issues' with digital photography at the moment; not the least of which is the lack of Photoshop on my new computer, which means I can't touch up or re-size any photographs I take.
Moreover, one of the major casualties of my switch of apartments has been the mislaying of most of my camera and computer accessories: I'm missing a power-pack for the old computer that still has a vaguely functioning version of Photoshop on it, the battery recharger for my digital SLR, and the USB lead for my new compact camera. I spent another hour or two searching for them today, but no joy. So.... no new pictures for a while, I'm afraid.
