It's NOT right...

This morning, when I arrived at my place of work, I found that the muzak-controllers in the downstairs mall area had seen fit to start our day with a particularly plodding, irritatingly warblesome version of Silent Night.

When I went down for a coffee break just now.... it was still playing.

I assume it's now going to be on a 24-hour loop for the next 4-6 weeks.

As I said in the heading.....

ha ha, enjoy.

You will know it has sunk deep into your bones when you start humming it at breakfast. Demented.

I have been enjoying an on and off 24hr season of Carol King's best at a healthy volume. Thats better.

I took my parents to the mall (Tyson's Corner) the weekend before Thanksgiving.

My pet hate isn't the piped Xmas music, but the frigging Salvation Army people outside with their big kettles ringing that goddamn bell non stop.

Seeing as the Sally Army is on my no donations under any circumstances list, I find it even more annoying.

oooh, Tyson's Corner...

I loved the drive there from my place in Georgetown... beautiful... especially the wild Wisteria bit on Chain Bridge Road.

many many fond memories... getting lost on our way there 1st year in DC as a 1L, with a car full of friends with no sense of direction. All the way to 6 years later, when I'd regularly make the drive to meet the Suburban Ladies for Sunday Brunch.

Ofcourse, I never actually shopped at Tysons...
