A regional China haiku

Chopped chilli garnish
And lashings of chilli oil:
Szechuan cookery.


Yep, there's hot, there's stupidly hot - and then there's Szechuan, which just veers off into unimaginable, comic-if-it-weren't-so-painful-and-pointless extremes.
