A last haiku

Airplane cabin hush;
Waiting, dormant, outside time.
Reborn on landing.

A final 'going away' haiku for you (post-dated, to maintain a deceptive appearance of normality). I do still rather enjoy the experience of air travel.

Hey, caren isn't the only one missing you! When do you get back? I thought this was a 2 -- maybe 3 -- week disappearance... don't tell me you've been trying to walk off into nothing from 20th floor windows, again.

p.s. caren, congrats on wedding festivities!
