I had hoped my observations over there last week on Beijing's new Face bar might prompt an interesting discussion in the comments on the evolution (or decline?) of the Beijing bar scene, or kick off another round of the ever-ongoing Beijing v. Shanghai debate.
Well, the comments are still open for such contributions, and I would welcome them.
However, at the moment that particular comment-thread has been taken over by a ding-dong debate between me and my opinionated bar buddy The British Cowboy on the issue of public smoking. Anyone else care to join in that one?? Go on......

I admit, i want more Froog, too. But, I assume he's holed away in his study coming up with some real genius for us. So, I'll happily wait for that quality stuff. :)

I guess I am a few generations mixed, as I keep putting off the next stage of my life and just learn the ways of generations catching up with me.
How can I have time to come up with quality stuff of my own, when I am all over the place reading the stuff others have written?
I have just been told about the "Sitemap" by Tulsa. I discovered it yesterday or the day before on tulsa's blog.
Now this puts the "spy" joke in better perspective. No wonder "The German" thought you were a spy. But then again, you are British (or are you), and that's where 007 was from (or was he).
ah, "next stage of life"...
personally, I've hopped around the traditional roadmap of life stages. I did my 30's in my teens, my teen years in my 20's and now I'm doing my 20's in my 30's. I wonder if my 40's will take me forwards or backwards...

If you are talking about the last on on "abuse", that's because he had mentioned it in his post, and there was a link that brought me here to this post and the comments here. So I had to come here and reassure Froog.
yes, i meant the "abuse"... I read this comment first (I read from bottom up to catch the latest) then much later saw his "abuse" reference...
but, most people wouldn't catch that, I think. Well, unless they are reading top-down and following the links.
