This one inspired, partly, by a recent post from my good blog-friend JES (which I am not currently able to embed in the post itself - it's probably possible, but a little bit of a gumption test too far for my depleted wits just at the moment): http://johnesimpson.com/blog/2009/09/the-house-in-your-head/
Funny, after I saw this post's title in my Google Reader inbox yesterday I meant to stop by...
While nosing around whiskey river this week, I came across a reference to a "random haiku generator based on oblique strategies," with a link. Which is why I immediately connected with your weekly haiku; I bet Froog would like this, I thought. Alas, the link no longer leads to an active page. BUT immediately above that link was another, labeled "100 worthwhile dilemmas." It leads you to a page somehow connected to Brian Eno, which is also connected to -- based on? -- these "oblique strategies."
...and following the link at the bottom of that page ("more about Oblique Strategies") led me down a very curious rabbit-hole.
Brian Eno is a very interesting guy.
Have you done a post on RAMH called Rabbit Holes yet? Only a matter of time, I surmise.
The flash cards are quirkily diverting, but I was hoping for something rather more from that '100 worthwhile dilemmas' title. I think someone - you? me? - should try to compile that list.
