I just realized in these comments today -- in the "Choose an Identity" area, below the captcha images -- that I've been letting it default to my Google info rather than the Name/URL option. Which says something about how far I've drifted from blogging -- I'm forgetting to promote my site, damn it!JEShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18312246296535506327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33211251.post-54466820243409990642012-10-14T16:33:12.158+00:002012-10-14T16:33:12.158+00:00Oh, my.

She attributes it to her Capricorn astrological sign, which, of course, is a hard thing to argue someone out of if they're determined to believe it. Live as though you were born under some other sign! doesn't go very far as advice.

Anyhow, her upcoming birthday is one she regards with special dread because it's the traditional (no longer conventional, though) age of retirement. It doesn't seem fair to her that she'll hit that age a few years before I do, either, and I sense a certain impatience that I, uh, hurry to catch up.

No words of wisdom from this chair, alas, about how to fix the gloom. It tends to come upon me rarely, but then I've always been the kind to take the wrong things seriously.JEShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18312246296535506327noreply@blogger.com
